The River Findhorn

Experience one of the best white water rivers in the UK. This wild, natural river serves up Grade 3 rapids with iconic names like “Wall of Death” and “Carnage Corner.” It’s a fast-flowing, exhilarating ride through stunning gorge scenery.

- Duration: Full day (~10 am to 3 pm/4 pm).
- Vibe: High adrenaline, scenic, and wet!
What’s Included?

- Full Kit Provided: Wetsuits, wetsuit socks, splash suits, buoyancy aids, and helmets

Essential Info
- What to Bring: A swimsuit (for under the wetsuit), a towel, and a spare pair of trainers with good grip that you don’t mind getting wet.
- Transport: We typically meet at the G2 Base on Alvie Estate to kit up. Most guests follow our van in their own vehicles to the river (usually a 30–50 minute drive depending on the section).
- Groups: Rafting is a top choice for Stag and Hen groups, corporate teams, and military adventurous training.

Getting started
Meet at the G2 base to grab your gear, then follow us to the river, about a 50 min drive.
Quick change into wetsuits and safety kit by the river. A short shuttle later your vehicles and dry clothes will be at the end of the river waiting for you.
White Water Adventure
The action starts straight away.
This raft classic serves up Grade 3 white water followed by calmer pools to pick up the pieces and re-group!
If you somehow manage to stay dry, there are great spots to jump in and just swim!
Running the Rapids
After approx 1.5 hrs on the water, our last rapid is the aptly named ‘Carnage corner’ by the stunning Relugus Bridge.
Get changed by the boats, leave the wet kit with us and head off to your next adventure!
