Looking for an adventure that packs a punch without the long drive to a remote mountain? The Adventure Canyon is G2’s signature “hybrid” experience. We’ve taken the best elements of canyoning and combined them with high-wire thrills to create a world-class adventure right here on our doorstep.
What Makes It Unique?
Unlike traditional river canyoning, the Adventure Canyon is a purpose-built journey through a spectacular natural gorge on the Alvie Estate.
- The Zip Line Entry: Start your journey by flying over the gorge on a zip wire before descending into the water.
- Natural Scrambling: Navigate through the rocky corridor, clambering over boulders and wading through the burn.
- The Freefall Plunge: Test your nerve with a leap of faith from our Zip Tower/plunge platform into a deep, crystal-clear mountain pool.

Essential Details
- Minimum Age: 10 years old.
- Duration: Approx. 2 to 2.5 hours.
- Gear Provided: We suit you up in professional 10mm Seland wetsuits, buoyancy aids, and helmets.
- What to Bring: Swimwear for under your suit and a pair of sturdy trainers (no sandals or crocs!).

Requirements
- You will need: Swimming costume to go under our wetsuit, spare pair of trainers with grip and support (not water shoes) to get wet in the canyon, towel for getting changed after the activity.
- Please be aware the river can sometimes be too high for a safe, fun trip so we may offer an alternative activity instead.
Fitness
- Some swimming ability is required.

Meet us at the G2 Adventure Hub base
We’ll kit you out with wetsuits and safety gear. Its a good idea to wear your swimming costume under your clothes for a quick change.
This is an onsite activity making use of our beautiful Alvie Canyon, Zip Adventure course and free fall pool plunge from our Zip Tower.
Zip, Slides, Jumps and Abseils
Once we get near to the canyon we’ll zip into the top of it and make our way down by slides, jumps, abseils and more zipping
Finishing off in the free fall water plunge pool
After zipping onto our Zip tower we’ll lower you over our plunge pool for a free fall drop to a huge splash!
