Canyoning – a summer adrenaline shot
Probably the highest octane summer outdoor activity in Aviemore, Canyoning is Gorge Walking’s big brother. Starting at the top of the river you’ll make huge slides down rocky chutes, conquer your fears with massive jumps into deep pools and abseil through a waterfall. White Water River Tubing – a guaranteed soaking but so much fun
Thrills and spills guaranteed with G2 Outdoor’s summer River Tubing trips. Starting at the top of the rapids, you’ll navigate white water falls, bounce down narrow channels and catch your breath in pools and eddies. Soon enough you’ll be sucked into the next set of obstacles with your sturdy river tube bouncing you between the rocks. More than likely you’ll take a swim as the river show you who’s boss. Zip Trek and Zip Adventure – Aviemore’s most popular summer family activity
Ever wondered what it’s like to be a bird? Our Zip Park has two incredible courses with over 3.5 km of wires between them. Our Zip Trek is our biggest highest course with our fastest including Scotland’s longest zip wire reaching speeds of 40mph. Eleven wires soar high through the Caledonian Pine Forest with spectacular views of the Cairngorm mountains as a backdrop. The Zip Adventure is a self guided course with 22 wires flying over waterfalls, alongside cliff faces and ends in our stunning double zip wire to the Zip Tower at the Adventure Hub base.
