Flying high at the Zip Park

Family fun at the Zip Park. The G2 Adventure hub is home to the UK’s largest Zip Line Park and Scotland’s longest Zip Wire. Zipping is a firm family favourite when you’re looking for memorable things to do in Aviemore. Our two spectacular courses fly high through the Caledonian Pine forest with amazing views to the Cairngorm mountains.

Our Zip Trek is our longest course with 11 stunning wires getting longer, higher and faster as you head down the course. The 2.5 km Zip Trek ends with Scotland’s longest Zip Wire a scream inducing 550m wire reaching 40mph.

The Zip Adventure course is our self guided course for more independent zippers. Twenty two wires make for a great zipping adventure on the 1.5km course. Fly over waterfalls, through a narrow gorge and finish on our double zip back to the 15m high Zip Tower. Zip alongside your friends – who will get to the end first?

Family fun – Gorge Walking

Getting soaked has never been so much fun! Our family friendly Gorge Walking trip can’t be beaten. Climb the river in the beautiful Alvie Gorge. There’s waterfalls to ascend, pools to jump into and rocky chutes to slide down.

The whole family will enjoy the journey. Who’s going to get the wettest, who will make the biggest splash? For an adventure for the whole family, Gorge Walking must be up there as one of the best things to do in Aviemore.

Adrenaline overload – Canyoning

Often called Gorge Walking’s big brother, Canyoning is a full on adventure descending a spectacular gorge in incredible surroundings.

Stopped by rocky slabs? We’ll take a slide into deep pools below. Waterfall too steep to slide? We’ll abseil down the river as it goes over the edge. Big cliff jumps may be the only way left to continue the descent. Canyoning is not for the faint-hearted. Are you up for it? Choose from our onsite Adventure Canyon with the infamous Drop Zone or head further afield to the off site canyon venues for a maxed out adrenaline adventure.
