Scotland has some of the best Rafting in Britain not only are the rivers awesome for rafting but the scenery is absolutely stunning. Our main river of choice is the Findhorn with two main sections that we use the upper and the middle the upper being the more extreme of the two giving good grade 3/4 check out the video for the upper section. This was filmed last year when the water level was at a medium flow which is ideal for the upper section, the rafts we have on the film are our 4 person rafts which are ideal for the Findhorn as it’s a narrow technical river and our small rafts get stuck less than the big 7/8 person rafts, when the rivers are rageing then we bring out the big rafts. https://www.g2outdoor.co.uk/summer-activities/white-water-rafting
Trips usually last from 10am in the morning until 3pm, we meet at our base in Aviemore located in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park where we fit wetsuits out and meet the rest of the group, from here we drive to the Findhorn which is 25min drive away you can either take your own cars or jump in our mini-bus.
Check out the other video below for a different view of the Findhorn in our bigger rafts:-
